I remember when I was little going to the strawberry fields and picking strawberries in Oregon. I have been wishing my kids could experience something similar but Arizona lacks in produce to pick except maybe lemons and oranges. Well, last Friday I took my kids over to Marge Goodman's house and we picked apricots for about an hour. With everyone's help, I have since made 23 pints of Apricot jam and have kept some in the freezer for future smoothies. It is the best jam I have ever tasted! Thank you Marge for sharing your beautiful fruit!

Looks delish!
Brig's grandma is always asking us to come and pick peaches, apricots, apples, etc. Next year I'm gonna make you come with me and then force you to teach me how to make it into jam. No option! It will happen. ;)
I'm so impressed with your canning skills! Looks yummy!
So jealous! I love apricots!
Shannon I have to start calling you blogarella. You have been posting so frequently and it makes me so happy! I love the boys acting like black belts on the blanket. That slooks like what happens at my house when we are out of school. Alot of fun, and also alot of nothing! Thanks for posting!
