Sleepy Head

Today has been a pretty crazy day! Adam went to bed late last night and then was up and early for Dive Team. I dragged them along for some YW activities and quick errands and then off to an afternoon movie with cousins and Grandparents. It was also pretty hot outside at 117 degrees which can tire anyone out. On the way home Adam and Morgan fell asleep but Adam woke up on his own once we arrived home. We started putting things away and looked over to see Adam passed out on the kitchen chair. He didn't make it very far!

Halle Lein Andersen

Welcome home little Halle! (We think she looks like Bryce) Joel and I went to visit his sister Lara at the hospital and to see the latest Andersen. She is so sweet! We were wondering after having two older brothers why the hopsital nurses would put a blue bow on her little head. Let's break out the pink already! We are so happy she is finally here and Mom and baby are doing well. Morgan is especially happy that she has another girl cousin. She can't wait for her to grow up so they can play tea party and dolls. Joel and I can't wait until she turns three so we can buy Halle lots and lots of makeup and she can get all her clothes and mommy's carpet dirty. It will be BIG TIME payback! Grow up quickly!

Puerto Penasco, Mexico (Rocky Point)

Last week we spent a couple of days in Rocky Point, Mexico. We shared a condo with our good friends Sam and Julie Mills and their two girls, Sierra and Raquel. After spending three days and two nights with us I hope we are still friends! We had so much fun hanging out at the beach, swimming all day in the pools and playing canasta until the wee hours of the morning. (not really, we couldn't last past midnight) It brought back fun memories of our BYU days playing cards whenever we got the chance. They only negative point of the trip was when Sam was stung by a stingray. Ouch!!! It was pretty painful!

The kids had fun searching for shells and Adam found some great ones! We haven't figured out how to get all the "fishy" smells out of them yet but Adam is so proud of his beautiful collection. We soaked them in bleach and they are currently sitting out in the hot sun to air out. Hopefully we can bring them in soon but until they are smelling "fresh and clean" they won't be coming inside.
