The kids and I participated in the Pat's Run this year. We left the house at 5:45 am and drove to the Sun Devil Stadium. The kids headed to the fun zone while Kathleen and I tried to maneuver ourselves among all the people to start the race. Once we finally made it through the start line it was difficult to pass people without tripping or bumping elbows. It was quite the experience but so much fun! The main run and the kid's run all ended up on the 42 yard line inside the stadium. There were 28,000 runners so it was a miracle we made it out of there with all three children in hand. I'm hoping Seth will be ready to run it with me next year.
Look at those ASU football players checking us out! They were probably so impressed with our awesome running abilities! Actually they were checking out my running buddy Kathleen, the cute blonde with the long legs!
What was the highlight of the day for Seth and Adam?.... Getting autographs from most of the ASU players.

You are in big trouble missy! I didn't want anyone to know that the real reason I run in these events is just to be checked out by the football players! My cover is blown! :)
Reality check---by that point in the race I was so sweaty and red that the football players thought I was one of their teammates....I'm so mannish! Thanks again for a fun race!
