Adam has been such a trooper! The nurses let Adam use the Hummer to drive down to the operating room. He only ran over a couple of people and nearly knocked over one of their carts while turning left, but otherwise it was a safe trip. He made me laugh as I kissed him goodbye and watched him immediately jump out of the Hummer and practically sprint into the operating room. I think he was confused with the last operation when he was getting his tubes changed out. That was a fifteen minute surgery with unlimited popsicles afterward. This was a little bit different. This time, he had surgery to attach a Pharyngeal flap to his soft palate. Basically, this flap prevents air from escaping out the nose when we speak. The surgery lasted about two hours and he wanted nothing to do with food when he came to. His mouth hurt so badly and he was in so much pain that were we all in tears. It was supposed to be outpatient surgery but Adam was vomiting and his oxygen levels were lower than they would have liked so they admitted him. We brought him home this morning and he's doing great! I'm surviving on little to no sleep and I badly need to take a shower. He's snoring loudly on the couch at the moment (an unfortunate result of this surgery) so I had better get back to him. We are glad he is home and doing well!

WE hope he feels better soon. Let me know if you need anything. I know how it is with no sleep. The kids had a blast making everything and my boys tell their friends about Adam being sick.
Love the bike we will have to take you guys with us when we ride quads
We love you Adam. Get better soon!
I love your gift from Dad and can't wait to see you driving it when we come to see you next month.
GOOD LUCK! I am proud of you, that you are so strong! It is sos tough to face things with your kids, when you know they don't deserve to suffer through them. What a sweetie!
We are so glad he is done with the surgery and home. We continue to pray he recovers completely quickly.
