Well folks, I'm all alone today. We dropped off our beautiful children off at school and I had to laugh because they all chose the same outfits. Their choices are limited so the chances of that happening were quite high. Morgan was adorable last night as she tried on about 100 bows. She kept on saying with each one, "That's not bad" and then on to the next. Her teacher has to the sweetest person alive. I think we lucked out this year. She was so brave and sat right down at her desk. There is no sign of fear on this girl. The boys were sent to the playground and they actually let me give them a kiss on the check with kids swarming the hallways. Joel and I walked out of the school empty handed. Are we really old enough to be empty nesters? I thought I was okay until I walked into our quiet house and then the tears came down. I'm sad....
I won't be sad for long though. I get to pick Morgan up from school in an hour. Half day kindergarten will fly by!

So cute! Morgan looks perfect in her red bow and shoes! Love it! And of course the boys are as handsome as ever. I'm so weird about matching that I would have forced my kids to pick the same outfits...your brood looked pretty sharp in all matching colors! And I just have to say...I knew you would cry! That's just part of being a sweet mom. ;) Enjoy the peace and quiet.
Seriously, that has got to be the cutest bunch of school kids EVER!!! Totally reminds me of being in England and seeing all the school children on a field trip! I am right there with you though - this year I too will be an empty nester for 1/2 day. I think that is why I am not looking forward to school starting this year! I will be calling, by the time we start you will be a pro, and I will be looking for tips on how to handle it!

Ask Jill what it's like to be a first grade teacher and have more Moms crying than kids at the "seperation". Where do we get red shirts too to be on the same team.
