I asked Seth if he wanted to use our rotten bananas and make banana bread. I was helping Adam with his piano practice while he was busy in the kitchen. I opened the oven after only five minutes of cooking and his creation was exploding everywhere!
He was devastated and buried his head in the couch.
He usually does an amazing job so I couldn't figure out what happened. He said he followed all the instructions carefully. Well... we started up another batch (lemon bread this time) and we found the culprit: baking powder. He used 1 1/2 c in stead of 1 1/2 tsp! Hilarious! We laughed so hard!
The lemon bread turned out beautifully and Seth is a much happier cook! Practice makes perfect I always say!
